Sheryl Underwood was born and raised in Arkansas, and was raised in the state. She became a TV host on the talk show daytime The Talk. She was born in Little Rock and Atwater. Sheryl was raised in an extremely difficult household. Sheryl was a part of her life caring for her sister Frankie with polio. As a child, her relationship with mother was rocky. She was the first female winner of the competition Miller Lite Comedy Search held in 1989. Her TV career began in 1992 as a actor on the HBO comedy program Def Comedy Jam. She hosted a show on television at the time of her debut on Oh Drama! The show has also featured her as host on The Talk since 2011. She has also played the fictional character in TV shows like Bulworth Nicki as well as Beauty Shop.
