Sheryl-Underwood
Sheryl Underwood, an American comedian and TV personality most well-known as presenter of The Talk, a popular talk show broadcast on daytime television. She was born and brought up within Little Rock. Sheryl was raised by a difficult family. Sheryl spent most of her youth caring for her sister Frankie with polio. When she was growing up, Sheryl was plagued by problems with her mom. Sheryl stated that in one instance, her mother attacked the father of her child because she was too close to him. Following her college graduation Sheryl became a military officer. Her passion for the military was comedy. In 1989 she was the first woman to make the top of the Miller Lite Comedy Search contest. In 1992 she made her TV debut as a regular performer in the HBO show Def Comedy Jam. The show was as host of Oh Drama! as the host in the year 2000. Since 2011, she has been a cohost of the Talk show. She also has fictional roles in shows like Bulworth, Nikki or Beauty Shop.
